Long-time reader, first-time visitor to Silicon Valley. I just arrived for the Singularity Summit. It will be interesting to see how out-of-place a redneck sex doctor will be in this sea of geniuses. More to follow.

I dropped by the restaurant Saturday night for the “meet-up”, but the room was packed, no seats left, and the arrangement did not allow for general conversation, except with the immediate table neighbor, so I left. I met Eliezer at the Tech Museum reception, but it was just a “hello, how are you?”. See today’s post for details.
